Loan Officer Training Feeling Right Is A Learned Trait Of A Successful Loan Officer

Have you ever said something like this, "That's not me, I can't do that. It's not my natural personality, it doesn't "feel right."

If you have said that, then this next statement will blow you away and chances are you've never heard said like this either...

You're RIGHT! That's NOT you! It's NOT your natural personality. It probably DOESN'T feel right. So what?

Of course it doesn't feel right, it's new, it's not supposed to feel right. Every time you change your routine, change you daily habits, change your life, guess what? It doesn't "feel right." Do you know why? It's not supposed to!

Chances are, if you're reading this right now, you're in the Mortgage Business in some capacity, probably a Loan Officer. When you were 8 years old, did you want to be a Loan Officer? Chances are, no. As you grew up, most new things you did didn't "feel right" but you did them anyway, right?

Going out on your first date maybe didn't "feel right", but you did it and probably went out on more dates afterwards. Your first job interview didn't "feel right", but chances are you had to do others as well, right?

The point is, usually something new doesn't feel right, but if it's something you must do to get what you want in life, like closing loans to take home a pay check, you'll overcome that feeling. Success leaves clues, whether it "feels right" to your or not, there are things you can do and people you can follow in the mortgage business to assist you in getting to where you want to be.

Don't use the excuse of "it doesn't feel right" to get ahead as a Loan Officer. If what you do is honest and ethical, then you're doing it right to begin with, keep up the good work!
