Maximizing Your Time Always Do Something Worthwhile
By: Chris J Smith

It is easy to waste time on the internet and not concentrate on making money. In this article, I'll tell you how to avoid that.

Making money on the internet can be done in many different ways. Sometimes you can make a lot of money very quickly but it rarely lasts. The aim of the game if you want to quit your regular day job is to make successful long term projects that will eventually keep making you long term money with little effort in the end.

So this means that often when you do some work, you are not sure how much money it will make for you. So how can you keep on the straight and narrow and make sure that you are doing something worthwhile?

How Do I Maximise My Time

What I personally do, is each time I am working, I ask myself the question "am I building my long term business?".

If the answer is "no" then you need to do something else.

For instance, I used to enjoy writing on a lot of blogs. After a short while, I realised that although I enjoyed writing them, the subjects did not have any big buyers so the potential for making money was low. I ditched this project quickly.

Don't Waste Time Surfing

I love to surf website but it is easy to waste a ton of time this way, especially on forums. Yes, you need to educate yourself but the best way to do that is by "doing" and not "reading".

Target The Right Niches

Don't waste your time on niches where nobody buys. For instance, don't make a site that only teenagers will read. Teenagers don't have a credit card so you won't make much money! Also, target niches where people are either desperate for a solution (health has many good sub-niches) or where people have a huge passion (e.g. golf).
