Rock music is no more. It gave way to pop musicians sporting tattoos and black eyeliner and singing catchy melodies with incomprehensible "deep" lyrics. Rock was the birth-child of geniuses and madmen. With its unapologetic originality and its understanding of the human condition, rock had a long and productive life.
