Jives Room formed during the cold month of january in 2001, originally as a 3 piece playing Nirvana and Muse covers. The line up at that point was Lewys on vocals and bass, Wayne on guitar and Gwynn on drums. The band then grew as a band and recorded their first demo in the summer of 2002. This disk contained some of the music that Jives room still play to date like syphon the python and walltog-this disk also contains the infamous 'tight pussy'. After a series of succesful gigs Jives room recorded their second demo which contained some of the more well known Jives Room songs like numpty lover, man lives up a radish tree and M.A.C.
