Gato Martin is an artist from Mallorca (Spain) who is now resident in London. He has taught himself to sing and play guitar since 1993, and music in general since taking his first steps, performing in a wide range of gigs in Spain and England. He has a self produced three demo CD's on which he plays most if not all of the instruments.

Loco Por Amor is bright and breezy with strum-along acoustic guitar and is helped by Toni delivering his native Spanish without any vocal posturing. Having said that, he's hit upon a winner here and should look to develop this lighter touch in future compositions.

On October 2003 Gato Martin won the online contest 'The Battle of the Bands and Babes' in the Latin section of the website Talentmatch.com - It is worth mentioning that Gato Martin is the most popular songwriter on the Spanish website 'Pasarela-200' with more than 12,000 votes so far. Sounds pretty exciting doesn't it! And to some extent they do deliver. Gato Martin is passionate and exuberant as a singer-songwriter who has quite clearly put his heart and soul into every song. The live performance brims with energy and enthusiasm.
