Efimus (real name Dmitriy Efimov) was born in Russia in 1974. He began the musical career in a school rock group which has not achieved popularity. In 1999 Dmitry Efimov has taken pseudonym Efimus and has begun solo career. He wrote instrumental music and dreamt to work for cinema. But to get to the film industry it has appeared very hard. Efimus wrote music for independent film studios, games. In 2004 Efimus has met the film director and producer Dmitriy Leshchenko, and a year later there was film Wrong way for which Efimus has written full soundtrack. Music to a film has received a positive estimation at spectators, and the film became first serious project for Dmitriy Leshchenko and his young studio Fullmoon Cinema. In 2005 Efimus met the known American producer Ken Hatley and begins cooperation with Ken Hatley and Associates. Also Efimus actively works with musical library Productiontrax.com. In 2006 Efimus again works with Fullmoon Cinema over serial «Garage Tales». The serial has passed on a CCTV and was very popular in Samara. In 2007 Efimus signs the contract with Quest Worldwide Production Music. In 2008 Efimus begins work over soundtrack for new film Fullmoon Cinema “Diablo”. In 2009 there is a first album Efimus «Big Journey”.
