With almost three years of performing, Bully has beaten down doors and taken names.

The band started in Teresa’s garage in the late summer of 2002. By December that year, they played their first gig, opening up for their friends, Drenched. Establishing themselves at local bars around the Virginia Beach area, they soon spread throughout Hampton Roads.

After playing a short period of time, Bully evolved from a five piece to a four-member, all-female, rock band.

They have played for benefits, small festivals, and venues from Maryland to North Carolina. In 2004, they added The Norva, one of Hampton Roads most popular venues, to their lists of places performed. Thru their travels, they have discovered some interesting places and developed many friendships and fans, which they love dearly.

They currently continue to rock the local area, but plan to expand their horizons. This year, Bully is planning a mini-tour along all of the East Coast.

Bully creates a sound that is hard to pinpoint. Their willingness to experiment with new ideas has resulted in a flavorful set mix. Influences of the band range from Weezer and Veruca Salt to Napalm Death and Drop Kick Murphy’s. Many have compared them to Old Black Sabbath and Drain STH.

They strive to reflect all of their influences in their songs, and all of the members contribute to the songwriting process. With this in mind, they have created magnificent melodic harmonies and crunchy guitar riffs.

Bully’s songs range from heavy and edgy to angst driven ballads. They also have a few cool covers on the bill. They are looking to become a familiar household name throughout the world.
