Bootnic are a teenage bilingual act from North Wales. They have just re recorded a three track session for Radio Cymru [website] ...... and released their first bilingual EP called 'Cau Dy Geg' [preview] which means 'shut your mouth' in case you are unfamiliar with the Welsh language, back in early 2003.

This track featured in the BBC 'C2' Welsh Language Chart [website] on numerous occasions and currentely recieves regular airplay on radio Cymru and radio Champion 103 [website] which are both Welsh based radio shows.

Having recently changed guitarists, they are currently hidden away in the countryside (in a true rock star fashion) concentrating on the recording of some brand new material. They are also a very proactive welsh language band and plan to champion their cause with a planned new welsh only release.

In summer 2003 they won the Bethan Elfyn [website] hosted - 'RockBandRock' competition and have played numerous gigs including ..... main stage Wakestock [website] with highly acclaimed bands such as Biffy Clyro [website], Electric Eel Shock [website], and Athlete.
